Bioi learned english at the age of six. that same year, i kept a journal with my mom about the moon. in third grade, i wrote one of my first poems, about the snow being like a person. i kept writing poems. songs, too. before age 11, i had already been in three bands: "life of the brain", "double the trouble", and "the bucktoothed babes." "double the trouble" was perhaps the most serious, as we had two whole songs. i am working every day on being a better friend to myself. i make field-trips across the US to read poems and play songs. i am a proud tiny tornado. i am an elated bright heart. in january - february 2009 i will be touring the country in "the spilljoy ensemble" with the power(hearted)houses jon sands, ken arkind, and danny sherrard.
